The Tiny Tiger Program is a specialized Taekwondo program developed to give preschool and kindergarten age children, the special instruction required to learn taekwondo.
Ages 4 to 6
Our Tiny Tiger curriculum includes the same material as our Karate for Kids and Adult programs, however Tiny Tigers advance in three ranks per belt color. Beginning at the rank of orange belt, belts are solid, solid with a black stripe and solid with a gold stripe.
The Tiny Tiger program works in conjunction with the Karate for Kids program. A special curriculum is used to offer children a strong foundation in essential character building qualities such as courtesy, respect and discipline. In addition, a lot of attention is paid to the development and improvement of the young child’s motor skills including their ability to focus and follow directions.
All Tiny Tigers classes are taught using safe, fun and exciting training practices available for this age group. This program runs in conjuction with the Karate for Kids program thereby emphasizing the same important monthly themes and value system.

Tiny Tiger’s typically graduate to the Karate for Kid (K for K) program once they enter the 1st grade. There is no hard rule to this however and moving into the K for K program will be dependent upon the child’s maturity and motor skills.
